There’s no movie coming out this summer that I’m more excited about than Mad Max: Fury Road.  Take George Miller, add some Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron and mix back together the post-apocalyptic world that Miller first created in his visionary trilogy and I’ll order it every time…color me excited!

This movie looks just insane and what amazes me more is knowing Miller’s tendency to favor actual stunts over CGI.  There are several stories out there about how chaotic the shoot was and seeing the footage in this trailer I could only imagine how physically and emotionally taxing it must have been on the actors.  One reservation for me is just how much action footage is shown and how much is actually left for the screen that we haven’t seen yet.  This summer is jam-packed full of movies I’m excited to see but this one is the highest on my list.
