A quality western that is completely unlike the trailer might suggest.  The quirkiness and colorful characters are all there but any action is reserved for the finale and the story plays out slowly.  We hardly get any time to learn anything about Ben Mendelsohn’s villain or any of the characters for that matter, but the chemistry between Michael Fassbender and Kodi Smit-McPhee and the beautiful cinematography make it worth it.

Recommend? Michael Fassbender is in it so of course I do.
