So is this Vin Diesel visiting Game Of Thrones?

I have no idea what to make of this thing.  Vin Diesel fighting witches with a flaming sword, Rose Leslie and Michael Caine…what?  This looks like one of those movies which is either going to be awful (where I’m putting my money) or surprisingly awesome because they just go straight action.  Where movies like this get bogged down are these horribly over complicated stories and explanations that we don’t even care about but here’s to hoping that this one delivers.
