Yup, I put Comedy in the tags because this movie is comedically bad.  Nicolas Cage continues his impressive run of horrible choices by leading this awful adaptation of the best selling series.  I can only imagine this will be the first of a series and I really hope it is.  I’m a bad movie fan and this is one for the record books.  Everywhere you look there is overacting, poor budget choices and Cage’s bad hair.  Want to get hit over the head with religious symbolism?  Then go no further.

Recommend? If you’re looking for a good movie then keep going but if you’re like me and love train wrecks, start it now.
