I am such a big fan of post-apocalyptic films so I went in expecting to like this one, especially starring Guy Pearce.  He’s all fury and there’s a sense of chaos and dread that hangs over every shot of this film.  Robert Pattinson is excellent and Scoot McNairy gives another solid supporting performance. David Michod continues to turn out strong and emotional films from down under and I can’t wait to see what he does next.
