A movie that so effortlessly blends a romantic drama with an alien invasion…yeah, exactly.  There’s one useless storyline about the main character’s life before all of this starts that never really came together for me but everything else works effectively.  The two leads, played by Richard J. Danum and Gillian McGregor, start their relationship and then we are whisked to a point where aliens have invaded and they’re struggling to survive.  We bounce back and forth between the two timelines and see how their relationship has become fractured because of the choices that were made.

Recommend? I was so surprised by how much I liked this movie, I’ll definitely be telling more people about it.
