I put these two together because they’re bound together by equally awful performances from John Cusack and both movies are just terrible. Drive Hard brings in Thomas Jane to play off of Cusack’s obnoxious “villain” and The Bag Man is just infuriating all around from beginning to end. Recommend? I wish both of these movies…
An alright crime thriller that does a decent job of keeping the story unpredictable while allowing the actors to play off of each other. The movie gets better as it goes along and wraps up nicely. It’s worth a viewing to see Oscar Isaac and Viggo Mortensen who continue to work at a stellar level.…
I’m usually not a big mockumentary fan but I liked this movie. The subject is really interesting despite very little believability and it was put together really well. Recommend? Sure.
The first 2/3 of this movie are so booooooooring! The final act picks up the stakes and there’s actually finally something happening but by that time my investment in the characters and the story had already left. A fine performance by Nicole Kidman but in a movie so boring it gets lost. Recommend? I wouldn’t…
