You better believe I’m posting this!  The first season of True Detective was something to behold.  There was a level of excellence on all fronts that made it one of the best things I watched period in 2014.

Not much is given away here which I’m completely fine with.  All the principal cast which includes Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn and the guy I’m rooting for the most Taylor Kitsch are introduced only through images but the look is similar to season 1 and with Nic Pizzolatto back in the writer’s seat I expect the same excellence.  Justin Lin takes over directing duties from Cary Fukunaga which might seem like an odd choice but I’m really interested to see how all of this turns out, I’ll be on my couch June 21st ready and waiting.
