A smart horror/comedy that starts off strong but loses steam later in the film. The setup is well done and the characters are well established. There are a decent amount of scares and some good laughs, but with most horror comedies it struggles to find the right balance and at times seems to get in its own way. Entertaining but not able to break into a better movie.
Recommend? Sure, but there are better movies like this out there, check out Tucker & Dale VS Evil as an example.

I have to disagree, I loved Housebound.
