I really enjoy Billy Corben as a filmmaker and was looking forward to this documentary about backyard brawls in Florida, but I never could get a handle on what he was trying to say.  This came off more as a hype film than than anything else.  I enjoyed how the film was shot and learning more about the fighters themselves but I wanted more from this film and I can’t even really articulate what that is.  It just felt empty to me in a way that Corben’s films have never been.

Recommend? I’d pass
